General Terms and Conditions

1. Scope and provider

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders you place via the online shop printmypet.de. Your contractual partner is:

2. Conclusion of the contract

The presentation of the products in the shop is not a binding offer but an invitation to place an order. By clicking the order button in the checkout, you submit a binding offer to purchase the goods in your basket. Before that, you can check and correct your details at any time, including with your browser's back functions.

Immediately after ordering, you will receive an order confirmation by email. With this email we accept your offer and the contract is concluded.

The contract language is the language in which you place your order. We store the contract text. We send you the order details and these terms and conditions by email. You can view the terms and conditions on this page at any time.

3. Personalised products

We make many of our products according to your details, for example with your photo, your pet's name or a style of your choice. The design is created digitally on the basis of your photo. In the live preview you see before ordering how your product will look.

You are responsible for ensuring that you hold the rights to the photos and texts you upload and that they do not infringe the rights of third parties. We do not print content that breaks the law. In this case we may refuse the order; we will then refund any amounts already paid.

Colours on screen and in print may differ slightly, depending on the screen, material and printing process. Such minor deviations are not a defect. The quality of the result also depends on the quality of your photo.

4. Prices and shipping costs

All prices in the shop are final prices including statutory VAT.

Shipping costs are charged in addition. They are listed on our Shipping page and are shown to you in the checkout before you order.

5. Payment

You can see which payment methods are available to you in the checkout. The amount is due when you order.

6. Delivery

We deliver to the countries listed on our Shipping page. Our products are made to order and produced and shipped by print partners in Europe. The expected delivery time is shown with the product and on the shipping page. If your order contains items from different print shops, it may arrive in several parcels; this does not cause you any additional shipping costs.

We provide digital products to you by email as a download.

7. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until paid for in full.

8. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you generally have a right of withdrawal. You will find the details and the model withdrawal form on our Right of withdrawal page.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made according to your specifications or are clearly tailored to your personal needs, for example products with your photo or chosen name. For digital content that we create individually for you, the right of withdrawal expires if, before ordering, you expressly agreed that we begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period and confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

9. Defects and warranty

The statutory warranty rights apply. If an item reaches you damaged or faulty, please write to us with a photo at kontakt@printmypet.de. We will then take care of a replacement. A quick notice helps us settle the matter with the carrier. However, your statutory rights do not depend on you getting in touch immediately.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

11. Your photos and our designs

We use your photos and texts only to produce and deliver your order. We only use them for advertising or on social networks if you have expressly agreed beforehand. How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

The designs, templates and texts in our shop are protected by copyright. You may use the purchased product privately. Commercial use or reproduction of the designs is only permitted with our consent. You may freely use digital portraits that we create for you privately, for example print them yourself, use them as a wallpaper or show them on social networks.

12. Gift cards

You can redeem gift cards in the shop for all products, including across several orders. They are not paid out in cash. Any remaining balance is kept. Our gift cards have no expiry date.

13. Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If you have questions or problems, simply write to us at kontakt@printmypet.de.

14. Applicable law

The law of the Kingdom of Spain applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence.

15. Final provisions

Should any provision of these terms and conditions be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
